Out was set up to provide the people of
Gillingham and those employed in Gillingham with an alternative to the
fast food cafe style outlets so prevalent in the town.
We pride ourselves on fresh, wholesome products, which is why you will not find pre-made sandwiches on our menu. Every sandwich, bagel, wrap, panini and baguette is freshly made-to-order. We also made a conscious decision not to provide reconstituted foodstuffs or fried foods.
We listened and took note of all the surveys that had been carried out in Gillingham and believe that we represent what the hardworking people of Gillingham want.
We are a small family owned outlet. Not part of a chain governed by portion control, targets and margins. This means we can provide a quality, value for money product and we can seek out the very best in suppliers and products.
Our bread is freshly baked for your maximum enjoyment. However, we use quality processed bread, such as Kingsmill, for our children's buffet menu because we have listened to our customers and their needs.
Our mixes are made in-house, as is our salsa, coleslaw and roasted vegetables, for maximum freshness and a flavour sensation that cannot be duplicated by the High Street chains. We are constantly guesting new flavours to our range, so if you don't see what you want, please ask - we will accommodate wherever possible.
